I am Sifu Dave Charlesworth, I live and work in Naples Italy and I am the only verifiable KAJUKENBO Instructor in Italy,  I am listed on the KAJUKENBO  Family tree under SGM Anthony Hemenes who was a student of GGM Gaylord.   GGM Gaylord was a student of George Seronio who was one of the original students at the Palama Settlement Gym.  I am proud to bring KAJUKENBO to Italy and it is my desire to share  this wonderful American Mixed Martial Art with all of you and grow our KAJUKENBO Ohana (Family) here in Italy.  Most of you probably do not know what KAJUKENBO is but I hope to change that and I extend an invitation to you to come check us out and take advantage of what KAJUKENBO has to offer.   If You would like to know more click on the link below and subscribe to my You Tube channel to see a little of what we offer. 

I am a native of Portland Oregon USA,  I started my martial arts training when I was about 12 or 13 years old (1982/83) under Grand Master Sid Lopez.  I studied KAJUKENBO Chu'an Fa Method with him and now GM Tim Gagnier at North Wind Kung-Fu in Newberg Oregon until I started Active Duty in the US Navy in June of 1988 following my Graduation from High School.   I spent 26 Years in the US Navy which took me to posts across the United states and abroad serving in the Gulf War and several campaigns throughout my long career.    

Throughout my 26 year Military career I trained with various schools off and on but it was difficult as I  often had trouble  finding a KAJUKENBO schools and when I did it seemed to always be right before I transferred .   On my last tour of duty in Italy where I am today I met my Beautiful wife and deciding to settle down, got married and retired.  I then started working for the Government where I have been ever since.    I have been under the World Wide Kajukenbo Association of America  (WWKAA) now known as the World Wide Kajukenbo Federation (WWKF) for the last 3 1/2 years and I am Currentl y a First Degree  Black Belt under SGM Anthony Hemenes.   I have quite a varied back ground and Have been exposed to several styles/methods  of KAJUKENBO but what I teach is the Hemenes method, the way that it was taught to SGM Hemenes by Great Grand Master Gaylord Himself.
